It's the end of the world. Six students have taken cover in Cortege High but shelter is little comfort when the dead outside won't stop pounding on the doors. On bite is all it takes to kill a person and bring them back as a monstrous version of their former self. To Sloane Price, that doesn't sound so bad. Six months ago, her world collapsed and since then, she's failed to find a reason to keep going. Now seems like the perfect time to give up. As Sloane eagerly waits for the barricades to fall, she's forced to witness the apocalypse through the eyes of five people who actually want to live. But as the dacys crawl by, the motications for survival change in startling ways and soon the group's fate is determined less and less by what's happening outside and more and more by the unpredictable and violent bids for life -and death-inside. When everything is gone, what do you hold on to?
I'm super excited for this book! I'm sensing a pattern in my WoW's (last week it was students locked in a superstore!) I love everything zombie and my daughters name is Sloane! What are YOU waiting on this Wednesday??

This one has always sounded really good to me nice pick.
ReplyDeleteYes! I am definitely looking forward to this book! I've never read a zombie book (gasp!) but this could very well be my first. I am always intrigued by how different we all become when put in perilous situations. We either rise to be our best, or sink to the lowest pit of our miserable being.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see how this one turns out! Great pick!

I haven't read any zombie books yet. Combined with that and the great things people have to say about Summers, I really want to read this.

I'm a bit meh about zombies lately, all stories seem the same. I hope this book isn't one of them, because the premise sounds good! I like it when it's not only the main couple, but a few of their friends involved in the plot too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!

Thanks for stopping by my WoW. This sounds like a good book. I hope you enjoy it. Zombies are not for me. Which is a little surprising because I love vampires and demons.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely read hex hall series. It's amazingly funny and shocking!
Great pick I was lucky to grab a hold of this one and it's really good! I hope you love it as much as I did!
