This sounds like a really gritty contemporary and that's totally what I've been into lately so needless to say, I can't wait for this one.  I like that rough backdrop of the cover too, with the graffiti and all!

I live in a small town nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Growing up I was always an avid reader (my mother must have spent thousands on R.L.Stine and Christopher Pike books). Writing a novel wasn't something I'd ever really given much thought about until early 2006, but I never actually put pen to paper until late 2007, after the birth of my second child.

While juggling with the everyday responsibilities that come with being an adult first off, a wife, and a stay-at-home mama to two small children... I still found some time to allow my wild imagination to run wild, something I hadn't done in years. And, I wrote a book.
