Q: What is the one thing you wish you could tell your favourite author?
Um... wow, I think this is the first time that I am stumped on the FF question. First of all, I couldn't even tell you who my favourite author is! I have authors that I thoroughly enjoy, but no author is perfect and there is always some body of work that I don't enjoy as much as others. Though I guess if I did have a favourite author I would probably say "You're my favourite author ever! Keep up the good work homeslice!" Yea, that's right, I would probably do something ridiculously dorky like call them homeslice and then regret embarrassing myself in front of my favourite author forever.
So, what's your answer? I can't wait to see some answers to this question that are obviously going to be better than mine! HA!

Haha, I love your answer! "Homeslice" My friends one time made an orange peeler called the Homeslice. It was weird but really hilarious! :)

LOL! I agree, this is the first question that I've really been hung up on :) (And my answer was rather cheesy! *lol* )
ReplyDeleteI also don't know that I could name a favorite author. I have six that I think of as "YAY! I must read all of their books, NOW!" and another dozen that I would rank among my top favorites...
Stop by and see my TGIF / Follow Friday! (It includes a giveaway!)
I couldn't choose a favorite author either, it was too hard haha Check out my answer to this weeks question @ http://best-of-ya.blogspot.com/2012/05/feature-follow-friday-19.html. I'm a new follower by the way! :)
ReplyDeleteHi & Happy Friday!

Have a nice weekend, Sharon
LOL. Yup, we had the same problem. And homeslice? Really?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF!
Hopping through. Call me a cultural idiot, but what does homeslice mean?
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
LOL I suppose I don't know what it means, but it was a really tacky 90's version of "man" or "dude"
DeleteI'm sure they'll like to be called Homeslice... no biggie :) Of course not every author is perfect, no one is. And he/she can't write an entire book with the reader agreeing on absolutely everything, something will be disliked whether the reader likes it or not. I've heard a quote once, "You have enemies? Good, that means you've stood up for something".

ReplyDeleteI think I would embarrass myself badly if I ever met someone I looked up to etc as a famous person ... So I can see why you think you might say something dorky, I would prolly not say anything because words would not come to me at all!
