I can't walk past a sale table, either. *high five*

ReplyDeleteFabulous books!!! You got so many, lol :D I also got Carnival of Souls this week, but I wasn't crazy about the book. :( But I'm reading Origin right now and loving it! I think if you don't mind cliché plots (scientists vs "natives") then you'll really enjoy it. It has some really interesting elements on top of a cliché foundation.

ReplyDeleteGreat books this week. The only one I've read is Forest of Hands and Teeth but I thought it was pretty good except for the protagonist being a complete Mary Sue. Very suspenseful though. I do have a lot of the others on my TBR though.

ReplyDeleteI also can't stand when books in a series don't match! It's like when the hunger games came out in a "special edition" - sure it was pretty, but IT DIDN'T MATCH the other two books! I can sometimes forgive a change in the cover, but not when they change the size of the book within in a series.
I know I work at Cole's, but the bargain sections of Chapters is my favorite - I love browsing the bargain shelves. I have a hard time not buying anything either lol.
