I got it in the mail this week too. I have read a few of the stories in Two and Twenty Dark Tales and so far I like it. Great haul chick!!

  11. Jenni - I love your haircut!

I loaded up this week, cause it's my Birthday Week and I was by a Barnes & Noble. Snap! I was so excited I did a vlog and mentioned you because among other goodies I purchased Anna Dressed in Blood, which I've been wanting in paperback ever since you mentioned the text was in red. Wicked!

  16. Yay for Vengeance Bound and Death and the Girl Next Door! I'm excited about your giveaway and I can't wait to read it myself, especially as I've heard SO many good things about it. It's a shame Perks of Being a Wallflower hasn't worked out for you as of now. I haven't read it myself, but I've read SO many mixed reviews of it so I'm on the fence about picking it up. I DO really want to see the movie though...I mean, Emma Watson and Logan Lerman in the same film? Talk about excessive amounts of AWESOME! ;) Fantastic haul this week, Jenni!

  27. haha Rola didn't like Charlie either. :P She did finish the book though, but she thought he was stupid. I thought he just seemed very young at first, but I've been trying to be more open-minded when I read books in different formats ever since I read (and loved) Ellen Hopkins' poetic verse books. I never thought I'd like them, but then I tried them and loved them! And I honestly think it's made me a lot more open to books with different formats, and a bit more understanding to protagonists like Charlie who don't come off the greatest at first. I really came around to him though. :) I was totally worried when I first started it though, so I understand what you mean. He grew on me though. :) Also, I'm jealous of your movie-tie-in version...I just love that cover! :D Logan Lerman's so adorable. ;D

And yay for Edelweiss approval! :D They are seriously hard to get approved for! Although their selection hasn't been as great recently either. They had tonnes earlier this year! Hopefully they'll keep getting more. :)

Awesome books this week, Jenni! Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my StS post, too. :)
