  14. Wow, you got so many sweet books this week.

By the way, if my Disney childhood knowledge holds, I think those fairies are from Sleeping Beauty.

I still can't believe what happened in Connecticut.

  15. You got Requiem!!! Oh my god. I can't wait to read it too, you're so lucky you got an ARC!

Don't feel like a loser because you haven't read in 2 days. I haven't freaking read (an English book) in 2 weeks, it's crazy!

I totally get what you mean by hoping it's sad. Books that rip my heart out are ones that I love... that sounds weird.

    Have an awesome week, Jenni!

  16. Oooooohhh Shadowlands! And Requiem! Although I wasn't madly in love with the series I MUST KNOW HOW IT ENDS!

I love sad books too - oh the drama *swoons*

Great books, Jenni! Have a great week!

  17. Epic haul Jenni!! Mind Games looks really great & the cover is really pretty! Really wanting to crack open Delirium so I can get caught up too! I saw that Giselle LOVED Shadowlands - here's hoping you will too :D Enjoy ALL your goodies ♥

  18. Awesome books, Jenni! I'm planning to read Edge of Nevet very soon. I've been thinking about reading Crash, too. I'll see what you think. Enjoy!

  19. Jenni, I laughed so hard over your pronunciation of Edelweiss. I love it!

I hope you love Peace, Love, and Baby Ducks! So jealous you got a copy of Shadowlands. I WANT IT.

Great haul this week, pumpkin! Those are some CUTE picture books.

  20. Whoa o.O What an AMAZING book haul! Shadowlands looks/sounds sooo good. Can't wait to hear what you think!

And yes, I giggled at your pronunciation of Edelweiss, too ;-) Here... YouTube "Sound of Music Edelweiss" and listen to how it's pronounced in that song. It should help! Haha.

    Love you!

  21. I have Mind Games too. It's super short, so yay!

I will be curious to see what you think of Crash. I've heard that one's super misogynistic and stuff, but I trust you to be annoyed at the things that would bother me, since I know neither of us is as picky about it as some, though we still like our ladies with backbones and our men with respect! The same with the Vincent Boys!

I'll be curious to see what you think of Altered, because it was very meh for me. Also Dead to You, because I do not like her YA stuff.

  22. Mind Games & Shadowlands, great! I'm really excited to read those two :) Happy reading.

  23. Requiem! Yay! I'm DYING to read it! Dying, I tell you! I would've flailed, too. :)

Return to Me! I have that one, too! It looks great. I do like Justina Chen. Oh, and you're not a failure! I've BARELY read in the last week ... I need to change that!

I have Peace, Love, and Baby Ducks, too ... I'm not sure what to think of Lauren Myracle -- I didn't like Shine, so I'm going to ease into this one ... The Vincent Boys was the last book I bought, but I still haven't read it! It does have a pretty nice cover. :)

You should try the Scaredy Squirrel series for your Mini-Me Reads ... also, Oliver Jeffers has some good reads, as well as Jon Klassen!

Isn't Eidelweiss spoken like the song in The Sound of Music?

Hope you feel better soon ... :)

  24. Mind Games and especially Altered, are two of my top early 2013 must reads. I've already got them pre-ordered. Squee! I hope you enjoy them and give them raving reviews so I know my decision was a good one. ;)

    Happy reading!
