HELLO!
So this week we book girls had decided to talk about how Google Reader is going away and mention some new reader options and stuff. But I ended up having the shitiest day in a loooong time yesterday and ended up rating about it for just over 7 minutes. There is about 45 seconds here that is actually about Reader options and the rest is just me venting to you about how bad my day was. So watch on if you care, but be prepared, there are numerous expletives in this, I really let loose. Here goes...
So, moral of the story is I had a shitty ass day and you can follow me on Bloglovin'. It's the reader that I have found I like best so I have added the option to follow me that way on the sidebar. If you have already found a new reader that you prefer let me know what it is down below!

Sheesh.. that was very convincing! I'm going to turn to bloglovin' right away!!
ReplyDeleteI really do hope you let the Chinese delivery guy/girl live and you were able to have a nice evening with your family. It always helps me to play like crazy with my son (3 years) and my husband or do some family cuddling in bed. That always puts things into perspective. ;)
The Chinese food people have lived to see another day. It was very good, about to have some for lunch today actually. The cuddling is definitely something that helps, thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteWOW. What a day. I can totally understand you're just DONE. But, tomorrow brings a new day. AND. They say that bad things happen in threes - so you're good! Hopefully the Chinese food was awesome as you hoped.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I admire your bravery for posting this. Cause I've done that before - been ABSOLUTELY frustrated with everything going on and ranting like nobody's seen before. But it never sees the light of day. I either do a video and delete it or I get angsty and write (but my hand usually cramps up which only adds to the misery). Either way. Bloglovin'. ; )
Today has been a much better day.
DeleteThank you Jessie! It actually did make me feel quite a bit better to just lay it all out there and let loose on the universe!
Ahh, girl! You looked so sad at the beginning that I just want to hug you right now! A shared problem is a half problem or half the problem or however it's said in English;) Babe, this is just one of those days! You should have gone boxing yesterday and kincked the fuck out of a boxing bag. Sometimes when I'm so furious I could literally kick something, I always think about taking up boxing, but I never have. I'd love to though, I heard it's great to put all your issues and stress into something like this and it helps that you know how to kick just in case;) But of course a drink and a great book are always helpful. I HOPE YOU HAVE A KICK-ASS WEEK, JENNI!!!!!!!!!!!! *hugs* PS. I got bloglovin' as well LOL.
ReplyDeleteKicking the fuck out of a boxing bag would have felt soooo good yesterday! I am getting caught up today, in all the garbage of yesterday I didn't get any of the stuff I had hoped to get done but this morning I am slowly getting there with lots of coffee! Thanks darlin :)
DeleteI went over to Bloglovin too. I was able to import from google reader which I was very happy to find. I have so many good blogs I follow on reader that I didn't want to miss any or take a very long time to add them all. It will take me a bit to stop going to google raeder out of habit but I do like bloglovin. The format is easy and enough like google reader where I can use it without any issues. yay. I was searching for a while and finally found this one out of a recommendation from a fellow blogger. :) hope you have a better day today!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Bloglovin' seems to be the one that people are migrating too. I like it. I agree I still constantly go straight to GR but I hope I get the hang of it soon!
DeleteI watched your vlog last night! Aww you poor thing, you had a terrible day. I hope today is a lot better than today for you, Jenni! <3
ReplyDeleteOh and I hope you didn't have to attack the Chinese restaurant people! :)
I need to get Blog lovin soon!
Have a great day, Jenni!
LOL Thanks Nick! The Chinese food people are still alive. It was soo soo good.
DeleteAww ... I'm glad at least that your day started with How to Save a Life. It's awesome!!
ReplyDeleteWe've had CRAP service at a lot of restaurants lately -- it sucks!
And you CAN go wrong with a Dyson. We're on our third and it's so poorly built. I can totally get it not working! Our first one was VERY finicky with different carpets.
If it makes you feel any better about being excited about the Dyson, I was super excited about my new food processor yesterday.
I hope your Chinese food was perfect! And I hope your week picks up. :)
Oh, and Bloglovin is great ... the only thing I hate is that the built-in frame drops out with Blogger blogs, but I can live with that!
I don't know what's up with the restaurants lately but it seems like the service is just getting worse and worse every time.
DeleteYES! EFF DYSON! I am so mad, I mean those things cost a pretty penny and they don't even work on my carpet. So silly.
The Chinese was great! Definitely helped cheer me up.
Happy that you like Bloglovin too :)
Awww hon, I'm sorry you had a bad day!!
ReplyDeleteI hate when you go out to eat and it's bad service!!
OMG I would have been so angry about the gazebo!!!
I would also be angry about the vacuum. Aren't Dyson's really expensive too!!
I want to jump into the computer and give you a hug and also kick the Denny's people, and the gazebo people, and the Dyson people. And I hope the Chinese was good and cheered you up. Love you babe!!
I almost murdered an aluminum gazebo yesterday, it was ugly.
DeleteYeah it was super expensive and it sucks! I'm going to return it today and get a Miele and hope that I have some better luck with that one.
Thanks Amy! *hugs*
I've heard good things about Feedly, but the alternative of choice seems to be Bloglovin, so I'll have to go do that! I used to have that for my old blog, but I'll have to sign up for a new account for this one.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had a bad day, though. CHOCOLATE helps.
Wendy @ The Midnight Garden
I'll have to check out Feedly, I hadn't heard of that one yet. It just seemed like everyone was migrating to Bloglovin so that's where I went LOL I am a lemming!
DeleteThanks, Wendy. Mmmmm chocolate :)
Oh Jenni... I hope you're having a much better day today. *hug*
ReplyDeleteIn the past few days, I got feedly, bloglovin and wordpress reader... for now, I think I like bloglovin a bit better. Feedly is also nice but wordpress reader? Not so much.
Awwww hunny! I hope your Chinese food was OFF THE WALL good! Not even joking. I am so sorry you had a shit day like that...even worse on a freaking Sunday - THE day that ought to be mellow & pleasant. I sure hope you're doing better this Monday. *HUG*
ReplyDeleteI went with Feedly for my mobile only cause I don't much like the Bloglovin' app's layout. But I agree, Bloglovin' is just great for the computer/laptop. I like the name too lol
♥
Wow, that DOES sound like a dreadful day. Nothing can ruin a day right from the start like a bad breakfast. And since I'm in the middle of remodeling my apartment, I know how awful and frustrating it is when the damn pieces won't fit.
ReplyDeleteThis Google Reader thing is horribly frustrating. Just when we jump over one of their obstacles, they put another one right in front of us.
HI! I'm glad you liked your stir-fry! And I'm glad you didn't hurt the delivery guy. I hope you got nice and drunk. Denny's sucks. GO IHOP.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are loving How to Save a Life. Sara Zarr is one of my favorites.
I just added a bloglovin' widget to my blog, FYI if you need to follow me that way. I like it too but I follow most of my favorite blogs by email so I don't use Google Reader anyway.
I hope today was better.
Your videos make me laugh so much! I'm sorry you had a crappy day. Fingers crossed the chinese made up for it! I really need to read Sara Zarr. That book looks adorable :)
ReplyDeleteCompletely understand this type of bad day. I am sorry that it was so shitty and hope that the rest of your week is super epic to make up for it! :) I too love BlogLovin'
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, sorry about your day! I hope everything comes together and works out for you. :) And hopefully you got your Chinese food as well!
ReplyDeleteI really like Bloglovin' too! It seems like most people are turning to it.
It's weird that talking to a camera actually helps. I did that about a week ago, and it actually made me feel better.
I know it's uber late but I feel like I can't leave without commenting you know? Because, who doesn't want love?
