Humungous thank you's to Kat H. Clayton, Xpresso Book Tours, Giselle, Helen Keeble, Jean Book Nerd, Sourcebooks, Tor, Atria Books, Macmillan, Flux Books, Raincoast Books and Thomas Nelson this week! Holy smokes that is a lot of people/places to thank this week, you all rock!
So what did you get this week? Link me up!

So many good ones! Love the cover & title of Tumble & Fall. This Song Will Save Your Life looks pretty cool, haven't seen that one yet ~ off to go check it out!
ReplyDeleteOh that reversible book jacket is awesome. Why don't publishers do that more often, then we could CHOOSE what we want!
ReplyDeleteI didn't LOVE the Fallen World series, but they are fun, quick reads, plus the covers look awesome.
I often buy books and can't remember what they are about LOL, I have to then look them up when they arrive just to find out!
Love your video :)) so cute and ... sooo many awesome books!
ReplyDeleteHopeless totally blew me!
HOPELESS!!!!!!!! Eek, eek, eeeeek!! I wanted to request Walking Disaster, but I felt like cheating if I didn't read the real book so I'll wait until my pre-ordered physical copy finds its way here. God, I miss Travis so much. Drowning in You is on my TBR list, yay! I can't wait for your thoughts, babe! I have Fang Girl, but I'm afraid maybe I won't be able to understand the humour so I'm a bit sceptical. I may miss out on everything though, but I will wait for now and if I'm in a mood for something completely different, I'll seek it out on my Kindle app. Bhahahaha @ your purchase of How To Lead A Life of Crime by Kristen Miller. The jacket is so pretty! I don't know what it's about either, but I've seen it around blogosphere and GR. I must look into this. Lovely haul, Jenny! Now, now.. If you could only get on that Hopeless copy sooner... ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Some Quiet Place which was my WOW Feature. Awesome books as always Jenni-san! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou always get the most eclectic hauls of books. Plus there are some that are brand new to me. Excellent haul of books. Jenni how do you keep it all together. I'm amazed.
ReplyDeleteGrace
Ohhh you got a physical ARC of No Angel!! Lucky you!! I got it from Edelweiss so I am super excited. I loved Fang Girl so I am so looking forward to No Angel.
ReplyDeleteGiselle is super sweet and awesome!! Hope you get some good stuff with the GC. :)
I have that cover for The Alchemy of Forever!! I wish they hadn't changed them.
Lol @ you being flabbergasted over the dust jacket!! You are so funny!!
Great books this week hon!! Can't wait to see your reviews!!
Just wanted to say thanks for mentioning No Angel is up on Edelweiss - I had no idea it was there! I'm delighted it's available as eARCs - Fang Girl wasn't, which really limited the number of bloggers who saw it, I think. Thanks for letting me know - now I'm off to tell the world via FB and Twitter! :)
DeleteLOL @ your hair! It's like it has its own personality! Good idea to get someone for a guest review for crap unsolicitated books! I never thought of that! Bahaha "Do you get iTunes emails? I got one today, did you?" >.<
ReplyDeleteI love how you buy random books you never heard of. With a bird on the cover no less! C will LOVE that one! :D I LOVED The Alchemy of Forever but it's very short too and kind of predictable but it was so much fun!
Oh dude Audrey, Wait is what Kara got me for my birthday but it's a different cover! How To Lead A Life of Crime looks SO good apparently it's pretty dark. Oh cool dust jacket! I think that was the original cover on the back too! I've seen it before so I'm just assuming.
kthxbye
Oh yeah, I've heard tons of wonderful things about Audrey, Wait! I have read Benway's other two books and really liked them. I'm hoping to get to Audrey, Wait soon. Like, maybe this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, flabbergasted is a great word isn't it?
haha, oh Jenni - your vlogs are always the funnest! Even when you initially don't plan them to be.
ReplyDeleteHeh, Giselle is sooo subtle. And nice!
You got some great deals on books this week! I might have to check out Costco and Chapters sometime soon too. I also have The Mockingbirds - and have also heard good things about it. People are always raving over Audrey, Wait, too!
Aah, I am flabbergasted about that cover, too! I had no idea it was reversible - can't decide which one I like best. But your reaction was priceless!
Wow, I'm in love with the cover of Tumble & Fall. Nice haul Jenni!
ReplyDeleteGiselle is so sweet :) And wow, you got a lot of goodies this week! Thanks for giving us a peek into what's reverse-printed on the inside of the jacket of How To Lead A Life of Crime. Happy Reading :)
ReplyDeletehahaha Oooh... a guy on a horse. You crack me up. The Alchemy of Forever does sound really good, how have I never heard of this one? I'm so crazy excited to get my hands on How To Lead A Life of Crime, I hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteWooot! So many awesome goodies! You have to let me know how How To Lead A Life Of Crime goes for you, Jenni! So many people already loved it, so if you end up enjoying it too, I'll definitely get a copy.
ReplyDeleteI love that cover for Tumble and Fall. It's so gorgeous!
Ha! Giselle is so sneaky! *SARCASM* She's so funny though! :P
Enjoy your lovelies, Jenni! :)
''Bam! Full bird!'' hahaha I loved that, had me laughing by myself here. Totally quotable. Oh and I LOVE that there was a WHOLE other cover hiding behind How to Lead a Life of Crime! THATS what they should do when they do cover changes mid-series: have the old one hiding underneath!!
ReplyDeleteAnways fab haul as always, I got Some Quiet Places too but it was my only book this week so I didn't do up a post. Furious, The Alchemy of Forever & Storm look brilliant too! Enjoy all of these :)
"Do you have a lot of spam in your email?" haha, love the sneaky questioning!
ReplyDeleteI have heard good things about The Mockingbirds, and I have Audrey, Wait! but still haven't read it.
OMG, secret dust jacket! And it's shiny, oooh!
Ew, good luck with that RL Stine book. Red Rain was AWFUL. Like HOLYSHITWTFBURRRRRNIIT awful. And I'm SOOOOOOOOO jealous you got Tumble & Fall. That sounds so breathtaking and fantastic and amazing. I must have that one. But I really hope that the apocalypse actually happens--as poorly as that may reflect on my character. just one I'd like to read a YA novel where the apocalypse is inevitable, and there is no way to avoid it. Novels and movies are always much more emotional and lingering when all there is in a novel is hope, despite the fact that the apocalypse is inevitable. I may have to ask you if the apocalypse actually happens in that one, because if it doesn't I may pass on it, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteAwesome new books! I can't wait to see what you think of Walking Disaster and Hopeless! I adored Hopeless but wasn't crazy about Walking Disaster (sob). Also, Tuble & Fall looks ADORABLE!! I can't wait to read it!!
ReplyDeleteMy Stacking the Shelves
Great book haul. I got Drowning in You and I have Hopeless, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I liked Walking Disaster. I'll be interested to hear what you think.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome haul. There are a few that I am going to have to check out and see if my library carries them. How sweet of Giselle too. :D I love me some iTunes. Enjoy... Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's Sunday Post
I really liked The Alchemy of Forever actually. I have the next book in the series for review and I can't wait to read it.
ReplyDeleteYou know I loved Audrey, Wait. I hope you enjoy it too!
And hey, can you let me know where you got that Leila Sales book and Tumble & Fall? Because I am not seeing them on NG and I am auto-approved for MacMillan. Is it a Canadian reviewers thing?
Anyway, great haul this week! I hope you enjoy them all!
Ah hah, it's going to be interesting to see what you think of FIREBRAND and THE WAY WE FALL--I had very mixed reactions to both of those, although most people loved TWWF.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting FURIOUS soon, too...but I'm a little nervous. Those mythic retellings can be good, but they can often go so TERRIBLY wrong.
Wendy @ The Midnight Garden
I got The Way We Fall in my mail this week as well. I'm really excited—been meaning to read it since January of 2012. I just hope it can live up to expectations, haha!
ReplyDeleteWow - you got a TON of books this week! I bought Hopeless WEEKS ago and really need to read it. I also wondered about A Midsummer Night's Scream ... but I never did read the first R. L. Stine book (is that a series?), so I'm giving it a pass. I also have Walking Disaster and Furious to read ... they look good!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Jenni!
SO MANY great ones! AHHH! The Megan Crewe books! I really want to try those too! You will not be disappointed by The Mockingbirds! SO GOOD!!! It's one of my favorites! Furious is on my TBR list! Happy reading crazy girlie!
ReplyDeleteOur Week in Books @Libby Blog
HOPELESS! You gotta read Hopeless! Go do it now!!!
ReplyDeleteUm, anyway...I actually DNF Walking Disaster. Hard to believe since I LOVED Beautiful Disaster and was so looking forward to WD. I loved Travis but having to see that bitch Abby through his eyes was more than I can take. I barely managed the first time. I hear the epilogue is awesome so I'm gonna go back and read that. Tumble and Fall looks awesome!
Yay! So happy you're going to read How to Lead a Life of Crime. I loved it. But ohmygosh secret book jacket!? *dies* Now I have to go buy a hardcover of it. I love secret jackets! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat haul this week, happy reading!
My gosh so many books so little time to read hope to see some of the reviews on the books that you have here. happy reading
ReplyDeleteI love your vlogs because you always make me smile! Especially when you use words like flabbergasted! I really thought you were going to make horse noises with Firebrand...
ReplyDeletethe Mockingbirds actually looks really good, and isn't one I've seen before. Audrey, Wait looks really cute as does This Song Will Save Your Life. Great haul! :)
Sweet zombie Jesus... That book haul is amazing, love! I know you'll enjoy most if not all of them :-) Loved the vlog! You always make me laugh.
