Hey all!
I didn't do an STS last week because I only got one ebook and this week I didn't add too much to my collection either but here goes anyway:
After reading, and loving, Zom-B I ran out and got the next two books in the series so that I could continue on. I've already read Zom-B Underground and it was really great too! (Read my review of Zom-B and Zom-B Underground)
From the lovely people at Hachette Book Group Canada I got this pretty and I have to say that it sounds sooo good! I can't wait to finally read it.

I've seen the Zom-B books around here and there, but I don't think I would like them. I'm glad you're enjoying them though! Going Under sounds like a great New Adult that I need to check out. I hope you enjoy your reads, Jenni!

That Going Under book has been getting really, really great reviews among my GR friends and among GR people in general. I actually own a copy, but I'm not sure why I haven't read it yet. Maybe because I don't want to go with the flow in case I end up hating it which I highly doubt will happen lol. Anyhow, I'm glad you are enjoying these Zom-B books :-)
ReplyDeleteOooh Zom-B sounds good and I've heard great things about Darren Shan. I tried one of his series and it was good but just towards a way younger audience than I am used too. Prep-School Confidential has been everywhere. Curious what that s about so I'll go check it out. Enjoy!

It may be a short haul, but it's a good one. Going Under is the one I'm interested in, although I've heard good things about the ZOM-B books too.
ReplyDeleteI heard Going Under is heart breakingly beautiful- while I don't think it's a book for my age, I do hope you aren't disappointed by it! I still need to read Prep School Cpnfidential for review book it's sounds classy and cute at the same time.

Prep School Confidential sounds like it could be quite fun, though I might wait to see what everyone thinks of it before requesting a copy. And I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Zom-B Underground! I'll head off to read your review now. :)
ReplyDeleteYou got some great books this week. I have come to enjoy the small hauls. It's easier to do my posts, and it gives me time to get through some of my ridiculous pile of books and ebooks. Going Under sounds really good. You are also slowing convincing me to give the Zom-B series another try.

Hi Jenni! A great collection of books this week - I've been seeing the Zom-B books around a lot, and although I don't think they'd be my kind of thing, I'm so happy for you that you're enjoying them! The Universe Versus Alex Woods sounds really intriguing. I'll have to check it out sometime.

ReplyDeleteSo happy to find another fan of the Zom B series! I've only read up to Zom B Undergroud, but I'm just loving it! I love the direction the series is taking, and the crazy amount of growth B's character has shown so far. I hope Zom B City is ever better than the last book!

ReplyDeleteI finished Zom-B and Zom-B Underground a few weeks ago, they were an interesting start to the series. I just grabbed the 3rd book too! I hope you enjoy it. They are so short and easy to read.
