I got this pretty from Sourcebooks for a special MG Halloween event which will be hitting the blog on October 29 and will be featuring my daughters review of Horrid Henry's Monster Movie as well as a great giveaway. Thank you Sourcebooks!!
I did my favorite kind of grocery shopping this week, you know, the kind where you go to Wal-Mart and Superstore and make sure you hit up the books section. I bought The Future of Us and betrayal only to get home and realise that betrayal is the second book in a series, I then used that as an excuse to go to the bookstore and grabbed envy.
I found this one for sale on Amazon for $1.00 for my Kindle so I had to pick it up! I'm always looking for a good scare and I've heard this one is really good.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great haul and I really hope you enjoy "The Future of Us" because it was the second book this year and was absolutely excellent. I've also been wanting to read "Envy," but the cover freaked me out so I've avoided it. I think I'll see what you have to say about it before I run for it!

ReplyDeleteI've seen Betrayal around a lot but I didn't realize it was the sequel to Envy! I used to live in Port Gamble but never got around to reading it. I think I was a little scared to read about the town being haunted lol. I hope you like everything you got! :)

Great haul! I saw The Story of Us paperback last weekend at Sam's, and they wouldn't let me buy it b/c it wasn't on sale until 10/16! I was do mad, like, why have it in the shelves?!
