Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature that highlights books that I am anxiously awaiting. WoW is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Seventeen-year-old Parker Frost may be a distant relative of Robert Frost, but she has never taken the road less traveled. Valedictorian and quintessential good girl, she’s about to graduate high school without ever having kissed her crush or broken the rules. So when fate drops a mystery in her lap—one that might be the key to uncovering the truth behind a town tragedy, she decides to take a chance. The cover line of "nothing gold can stay" is enough for me on this one. But on top of that there is the promise of romance, mystery and a girl taking the unbeaten path wrapped up inside a gorgeous cover! YAY!

*Please excuse the mismatched banner. A new, matching one is on its way!!

This looks really good, but the vague blurb makes me think I won't like it :-( You're right though, the tag line is really intriguing.

YES. I am *so* looking forward to reading this one! Hell, I'd read it for the cover alone (I looove the pattern behind the title, so I'll be able to dismiss the model's awkward pose), and the tag line, "Nothing gold can stay", but then it also has an awesome synopsis! I'll definitely be reading this whenever I can, it sounds so dramatic and mysterious! Great pick Jenni!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really good! We seem to have the same taste in contemps so if you want it, I must have it! Hopefully before you do! Muahaha
ReplyDeleteI like the sounds of this too and that the synopsis doesn't give too much away :-)
