Waiting On Wednesday (35)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature that highlights books that I am anxiously awaiting. WoW is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Just One Day
by Gayle Forman
to be published January 8th 2013 by Dutton Juvenile

A breathtaking journey toward self-discovery and true love, from the author of If I Stay.

When sheltered American good girl Allyson "LuLu" Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

Just One Day is the first in a sweepingly romantic duet of novels. Willem’s story—Just One Year—is coming soon!
After reading Forman's If I Stay and Where She Went I will read anything this lady puts out. I love how she writes the first novel from the girls perspective and the second from the guys.  It worked so well in her previous novels and I hope is pulled of just as well with these ones.

What are you waiting on this week? Link me up!

  4. This was a pretty popular pick last week but I chose to ignore it completely because if so many people were waiting for it, it must sound great which would result in me adding yet another book to my to-read list... I wanted to avoid that but now it's too late.. I would love to get my hands on Just one Day. Great pick!
