  4. AHHHH Days of Blood and Starlight!! *grabby hands* I got Liesl and Po on my nook about a month or so ago and really want to find time to read it. Story of my life right? Lol!! Blood Wounds sounds really good. I need to finish reading Dear Teen Me. I'm about 30% done. It's nice though because I can just read a few of the letters here and there. Great haul babe!!

  7. I think I like the book cover of the hardback version of Liesl & Po more than the current paperback version. Dear Teen Me sounds really good.

    Have an awesome weekend!

  12. Liesl & po is so magical!! <3 I really liked it. I'm also liking Shadow and Bone but it's like the first, not extremely fast pace. And Dear Teen Me looks really good MIranda Kenneally is in it too! Blood Wounds sounds so good!!!! OMG!! I'd seen that cover but didn't know what it was about!

  21. I love the concept for Dear Teen Me! I'll be interested in reading your thoughts on it because I don't think I've read any reviews for it yet.

I can definitely see why you would have liked the last 70 pages of DoS&B better than the first bit - she really ramped up the creativity and excitement for those pages! It was all SO intriguing and I hope DoB&S continues that trend, too!

I hadn't ever seen the paperback cover for Liesl & Po before now - but aren't the illustrations nice? It was such a sweet, inspired story. I would read ANYTHING that Lauren Oliver writes. Though I haven't read Before I Fall yet!!

Good for you for making a vlog even when you weren't up to it! I know I always enjoy watching them!

  23. Oooh, I'm mentioned. I wonder why. *clicks play*

I'm not reading enough either. I've been pulling some late nights to get my tour books done because they're both boring me. WAHHH.

Flyaway: never heard of this. Rehab? Sounds DEPRESSING. Awesome!

Dear Teen Me: There I am! Diversity!

Days of Blood and Starlight: As soon as I finish Red Rain, I'll be reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Liesl and Po: Hope that one's awesome, since The Spindlers was kind of disappointing.

  24. Aww, boo, I'm sorry to hear it Wreck It Ralph wasn't THAT good. My sister is really excited to see it because she's huge video game freak, but I won't tell her what you said. She'll prob. love it more than you on principle, unless I spoil it with low reception xD

Dear Teen Me probably has all of my favorite authors in it. At least a good 60% so YES, I WANT IT. And I get what you mean about Days of Blood and Starlight. The world-building and prose was wonderful, and I even enjoyed Karou's character, but the rest didn't impress me but the last couple of chapters really did so I now want to read the sequel. AND BRO. I had no idea the cover was THAT BEAUTIFUL in person. THE BACK WITH THE FEATHERS. Oh, I love!

And I love Lauren Oliver as well. I'm disappointed in myself that I haven't yet read Liesl & Po! Can't wait to see what you think!

  25. Great books this week, Jenni! :D We were talking about the Daughter of Smoke and Bone at the meetup Saturday (missed seeing you by the way :)), so hopefully you love the sequel. Kristilyn said you only really liked the last 80 pages or something like that of the first. :P

Also, congrats on your big win!!! :D

I hope you enjoy all your fabulous books this week, and thanks for visiting my StS post. :)
