When Bea meets Beck, she knows instantly that he's her kind of crazy. Sweet, strong, kinda-messed-up Beck understands her like no one else can. He makes her feel almost normal. He makes her feel like she could fall in love again.I recently read Perfect Escape which dealt with OCD and I was fascinated at the depths it affects a person and the people around them. While this seems to be a more fluffy take on the topic I think I could really enjoy it. And I really like the tacky cover!
But despite her feelings for Beck, Bea can't stop thinking about someone else: a guy who is gorgeous and magnetic... and has no idea Bea even exists. But Bea knows a ton about him. She spends a lot of time watching him. She has a journal full of notes. Some might even say she's obsessed.
Bea tells herself she's got it all under control, but this isn't a choice, it's a compulsion. The truth is, she's breaking down... and she might end up breaking her own heart.

I hadn't heard of this one and I didn't know Perfect Escape dealt with OCD either. As someone who suffers from a mild case of it, I'd like to check these out. Thanks for the intro to it! Great pick!

ReplyDeleteThis sounds more like obsession than OCD, but I suppose they're two sides of the same coin at the end of the day. I probably wouldn't have picked up the book based on the cover, but now that I've read the blurb, this will definitely be one I read!
