It's that time of the week again! This week I got some sweet ARC's, a prize came in the mail and I also did a little book shopping! Here are my new goodies:
I got The Beautiful and the Cursed after winning it in a giveaway on Xpresso Reads and I got Spark from St. Martins Press. I don't have the first book in that series but I guess I am going to have to grab it so I can start on the series.
On Tuesday after putting the brats to bed I snuck off to Chapters and got some contemporary reads that I think look really good! They both sound pretty gritty and right up my alley.

The Beautiful and the Cursed - this is a book I want to read. Giselle's originality claim really got me intrigued. Oh and all the ebooks *drools* ME WANTS, ME WANTS!!!

ReplyDeleteBoo, no video today? I've heard mixed things on Spark but I've always kind of wanted to try it out so I'm excited to read any thoughts on it. I have an arc of Beautiful and the cursed waiting for me to get to it SO HOPEFULLY SOON for that one.

I liked the setting and gargoyle aspect of The Beautiful and The Cursed, but the characters didn't really stand out to me. Curious to see what you think!

ReplyDeleteOMG too weird, I almost bought After this week too, but then I decided not to since I have like 5 million other books to read lol!! The Beautiful and the Cursed is so freaking pretty!! I had glow on audio and never listened to it. It sounds like a good series though. Great haul babe!

All Our Yesterdays was a great read for me. Things fall together really well towards the end, so it does take some patience. I can't wait to see what you think of it! I'm also really curious about The Truth About Me & You. Mostly because I like the cover, hah. ;)
