Ha! I really want to read more smut, too, as silly as that sounds. But I also don't know where to start, because it seems like all the new, popular books are 50 Shades rip-offs, or Twilight fanfic. I should probably broaden my blog-following horizons a little more. Meh.
ReplyDeleteI also got approved for Insomnia. It sounds a little like Lisa McMann's Wake trilogy, but maybe a little darker. That's okay though, because I love Lisa McMann so I don't mind reading more.

LOL, FSoG was complete BS. Ugh.. It was so bad. The emotional storyline was probably the best thing about it, but other than that it was just goddamn awful, pardon my language. It was just that - a fanfiction. Something that every single one of us could write. The writing was really simple and Anastasia Steele is even more frustrating than Bella Swan. It'll be an interesting experience if you decide to read it, though. I like the new cover better for Legend, it's SO PRETTTAAA-HH!!! Fuse is so pretty, too. I haven't read the first book yet, but I want to. Insomnia - ugh! I want to know what you think of it already! I can't believe the books you got this week - they're all fantsatic! Anyway, I'm glad to see you got Insomnia, too! It's released in June, so I might not get to it for a while, but it's taking all my willpower to not start it right now. I absolutely love anything in the horror genre having to do with dreams - I blame my love for Nightmare on Elm Street - so Insomnia sounds perfect x100. Can't wait to start it!

ReplyDeleteYou have some great acquisitions here! The only one I wouldn't be interested in is "Eve of Darkness", since I don't read stuff like "Fifty Shades of Gray". As for "Insomnia", I would of course get a printed edition, since I don't like e-books.

I TOTES understand why you felt you had to repurchase Legend. There's nothing more painful and gets me more peevish than COVERS THAT DON'T MATCH. And Pure and Fuse look way to whacked out and disturbing for my poor mind so I refuse to give them a whirl no matter HOW GORGEOUS I find the covers. And rock on for some smut! Your hubby is too funny ;P
