  2. Oooh, your kids are into zombies? It's so cute. Which, now that I wrote it sounds weird, LOL, but that cover is adorable! I see that zombies are a hot topic among your family;) Oooh, THE INDIGO SPELL!!!! I know you can read Bloodlines separate from Vampire Academy, but I recommend that you read VA first, because you get the perfect idea as of why Adrian, Syney, Eddie, Jill and everyone else are the way they are. LOL! Every time I tell someone about VA it makes me want to re-read these books. The more I read them, the better they become. Wohooo!!! UNDER THE NEVER SKY - different! Perry and Roar - yummmm-yummm;) Bhahaha. ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, yay! These new covers are not my favorites, but the story is good. WOW! THE LOST GIRL - it's on my TOP TBR pile on my Kindle. I've been putting it off forever for no reason and I think it's time I read it. I heard it's good and really different. Plus, I like that there is supposedly some cultural aspects in it as well. All of those ebooks - yay! I'm just in awe of this haul, Jenni! I hope you have a fantastic new year ahead of you and filled with amazing books, wonderful experiences and loving people. *hugs*

  5. OMG I had this whole freaking comment written out and then I friggin accidentally left the page and erased it!!! FAIL!!! OMG I don't feel like redoing it all so I just totally friggin suck!! I literally was watching and commenting while you were showing the books. Anyways, super epically awesome haul babe!! We should totally read Sloppy Firsts together. I have the whole series and have been wanting to read them!!!

  7. Great books this week! I'm eager to read Another Little Piece. I also see you're currently reading If You Find Me - what do you think so far? I have it coming up soon on my review pile... it looks like it will be quite emotional. Enjoy your books! :)

  9. Wow Jenni, this StS is insane! I hope you love all of them, especially Across the Universe, which I loved. And don't worry, I haven't read Under the Never Sky yet either, although it's on my shelf waiting for me!

  10. I love your StS this week! I adore the Fancy Nancy books (and my students would definitely concur with my assessment of them). I actually just picked up the first chapter book for them, but haven't gotten it out on the shelves yet. And I'm slowly making my way through the Gallagher Girls books; I'm on the third one right now.

    Happy reading!

    My StS post :)

  11. You haven't read UTNS?! GET ON THAT, GIRL. The second book is even better. (I was THIS. CLOSE. to buying you the second book for your birthday, but I saw you didn't read UTNS and didn't want you to be stuck with a sequel to a book you didn't like.) Also, yay - The Program! That sounds so good. Kind of like Delirium but with suicide. I'm hoping I like it more than I liked Delirium, if I manage to get an ARC. And the packaging for Boy Nobody is so cool!! I'm also still jealous you got the EW books! I'm hoping to start Transparent soon - it sounds really fun, and I'm supposed to get The End Games in the mail any day now (unless the person forgot to ship it). I got Strangelets this week, too. It sounds very mindfucky, so I'm looking forward to it. And I also sent in requests for Reboot, Arclight, and In The After, because I'm a perseverant bitch and will continue to annoy HC until they approve me.

  14. Haha I like how you say Schuster, like Shoo-ster! >.<

Love that Boy Nobody thing! So cool!

Ooh Cracked! I didn't know you got that! I hope it's good I really liked Empty!

Curious to see what you think of the Feed series. TBH I'm not sure you'll like them, especially not at first bc the first half of book 1 is LONG and heavy in politics, but the last half and book 2 are freaking amazing! Plus I hate politics and I still loved it so dunno. We'll see.

Ooh Silver Linings Playbook! I didn't know it was a book. I read Twilight after watching the movie (just book 1) and it was still as good.

I love the Ally Carter book titles! So clever and quirky. Book 1 was very fun. Not especially deep but it,s a good fluff book--I was told it gets pretty epic though as the series advances.

    Amelia Bedelia!! Win!

Omg a kid zombie book! YES!!!!

I should get that plum card is it free? Bc I rarely buy books there but if it's free why not? >.<

I never read John Green either. But I'm not that into crying like you are lol. Ooh Clean looks good!

    Sarah Dessen is gritty? Nice!!

Across the Universe I'm kind of on the fence. I heard the girl is frozen for 400+ years.... an she's conscious. first of all, that would make someone mentally insane, secondly, she was FROZEN! Yah.

Lol He finds out that he's gay? Like it just happened? Haha. Go book!

Ok bye! (I was commenting as I watched on a 2nd popup window :D

I really enjoyed the movie Silver Linings Playbook, but I'm not sure ill ever read the book. It kinda sucks that you already know what happens in the end, but looking forward to your review of it!

Great book haul, and hope you enjoy them all!

  21. Omg! You had one hell of a book-collecting week!! I hope you love the Gallagher Girls Academy series. They are quick, cute and a lot of fun. They're one of my guilty pleasure series.

  22. Sloppy Firsts is one of my favorite series. It starts out YA and then the 3rd book she's in college or whatever. And I loveeedd Under the Never Sky!!! And Sarah Dessen is the author who got me into reading YA. Hope you enjoy all your books. And Happy late Birthday. Also, I saw Perks of Being a Wallflower before I read the book and I think I enjoyed the movie more that way because there were no expectations. My Stacking The Shelves post

  23. Holy crap! You got a lot of books this week. You got lucky at Costco, I went yesterday and they had... shite. They only had the Divergent series, and I already own it so yea.

I hope you enjoy The Fault in Our Stars, it's one of my favourites.

How the hell did you get to 100 dollars?! I got to five and I just spent it, LOL. I usually get my books online, so I don't get a lot of points -- the books are cheaper online! I do all their bonus offers though. :)

The Truth About Forever is one of my favourites by Sarah Dessen, it was sooo good. If you like it, you should also try This Lullaby.

I really want to read Under the Never Sky as well, there are so many books, but so little time.

Enjoy all your books, Jenni! :)

  24. Happy birthday once again!

I'm excited for The Program too. I hope it's good and I am so jealous you got a copy!

That package for Boy Nobody is AWESOME!

Yay for Scarlet! It is and was epic!

I still haven't read a Brenna Yovanoff book. I am awful...

It's okay. Just say shit. :D

I hope you get your book from me soon!!!

  25. Holy shit, epic haul. I'd forgotten.

I talk to myself when I film them too. I do not look at the camera.

Wahhhh, I'm going to steal The Program from you. IT'S MINE!!!! We were meant to be.

That box is so cute! I've heard good things about Allen Zadoff. I know April loves him.

Wow. You bought SO MUCH. Like, only two review copies and like 30 total.

Your mother in law is awesome! She bought you Scarlet.

I wasn't a huge fan of The Replacement, but I heard that The Space Between is good too.

WHY ARE YOU NOT READING THE NEWSFLESH TRILOGY RIGHT NOW? STOP VLOGGING AND READ THEM, DAMN IT!

You said "shite." That is adorable!

Next week, you're going to be ordering book four, aren't you?

You bought it, even though you think they'll just collect dust. You're crazy.

I'm the best. Sorry. I just wasn't there for Hero. My bad!

Sloppy Firsts is adult only by imprint. Well, and later on. But the first two would be YA today.

I can't believe you bought the cover version that's not the final, because now your books won't match for AtU.

In the US, books say how much they cost in Canada. They don't have the Canadian price in Canada? WTF?

  26. Wow great set of books. Many mentioned
I have read and liked. I would love to The Program. Can't wait to see your review of that book.

  27. Ooooh.. the Newsflesh Trilogy is amazing! I hope you love it, it's one of my favorites EVER.
It's funny, I don't think I've ever read the book AFTER the movie. Usually, I read it before or not at all.
You got so many great books (I haven't read Under the Never Sky either so don't feel bad) and so many great egalleys too! I got Reboot, really looking forward to that one. And Strangelets and Another Little Piece sound great too! Happy Reading!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. WOW. You've left me speechless. (Writingless?) What.A.Haul. AMAZING!!! And before I forget...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I don't know what day it was, but you mentioned it was last weekend. I can see you had a GREAT one!! WOOOEEEE!!

Well, I WANT, WANT, WANT "Everneath", "Hallowed", "Scarlet", "Reboot", and "The Indigo Spell"!! The other books are new to me, but, thanks to Amazon, I now want these as well: "Transparent" and "The Truth About Forever"!! I've heard of Sarah Dessen, but have never read anything by her. She's supposed to be EXCELLENT.

Anyway, hope you (and your kids) enjoy this IN-CRE-DI-BLE haul!! Thanks for featuring these books for us super-greedy bookworms!!!! :)

  30. Holy hell, this has got to be one of the most EPIC hauls I have EVER seen! The Boy Nobody swag was amazing, especially the card with your blog button and everything - COOL! I haven't read the Across the Universe books OR the Under the Never Sky ones either! Have no fear, you are not the only one...in fact since you have the books now you are one step closer than I am bahaha >.< Same goes for The Fault in Our Stars...I was tempted to get it when it went on sale in e-book format a while ago but I have too much catching up to do as it is. I hope you'll love all of these, when you get around to reading them all :D Congrats on all the goodies & happy belated b-day ♥
