My haul is really piddly this week so I decided not to do a vlog. No, that's a lie, the real reason that I am opting out of doing a vlog this week is because I pulled a total Canadian faux pas today. I had a shower and then didn't feel like doing my hair so I threw a toque on my wet hair to run out to the store. My hair is so flat right now that I look like a bald guy, no lie. So yeah, no vlog but I have piiiiiiictures! Fun!
I got Flesh & Bone from the lovely Ashley of Ashley Loves Books. You guys, this girl is so sweet. She saw on my Instagram that I had bought the first two books in the series and offered to send me the final book to complete my collection. Thank you so much Ashley!
I got these two from Raincoast Books. I am super excited for both so big thank you to Raincoast!

I really should get that series at some point. I got declined for Golden, that's okay though, I have about a million other books to read lol!! Awesome haul chick!!

ReplyDeleteIf He Had Been With Me sounds really good, and I've read a countless amount of raving reviews for it. Golden has such a gorgeous cover, and I want it for that reason alone! I haven't read any of the books in the Flesh & Bone series, but I've heard they are phenomenal. It was very sweet of Ashley to send you the final book. I swear, book bloggers are the nicest people to exist!

WOW! The cover to Flesh and Bone is super creepy and just pop right out of the page!! I love it. The summery cover of Golden is beautiful! I hear Jessi Kirby's books are great reads! There's something so tragic about the If He Had Been With Me cover ... a girl in the rain, holding out her empty hands, and then the title ... it's so sad. And that was so nice of Ashely to send you the final book!

I am ALWAYS just throwing my hair up after washing it. It just takes so much time to dry it. Of course, it's never a good thing in the winter ... I wonder if that's why I get so many colds?
