I just wanted to leave a quick note here and let you know that there won't be any posts on the blog this week and I won't be commenting like usual. I'm heading to Saskatchewan with the family for most of the week, 16 hours in a vehicle with the kids, YAY me! I will still be on Twitter here and there. Heist Society is the first one, so you done good! I have it too, but I haven't read it yet! I need to get my hands on Eleanor and Park as well! I'm going near the bookstore tomorrow. Maybe I'll go in?

I really, REALLY want to read Blackout! It looks amazing and that cover is seriously gorgeous. I wasn't sure about The Testing, but in the time between me accepting it, and then looking for other reviews, HMH archived it, so I guess the decision was made for me! I also got Find Me this week and I can't wait to get to it! September never seemed to far before...

Eleanor and Park seems to be what's going on everyone's shelves these days, looks like I'm going to buy it now with all the gushing reviews :) I have some of Ally Carter's books on my self but I haven't got round to reading them yet so I hope you enjoy them! oh yea you didn't fail, Heist Society is the first book in the series! I went to my bookstore and unfortunately we didn't have the books you got. Darn that Chapters =\. I must go to costco and stock up on all the Sarah Dessen books because I have read all of them but I do not own them even though I want to!

ReplyDeleteI received Find Me and The Testing, too, but then I misread the email and thought that I had all the time in the world to download it into my comp, so I didn't at first. Now I'm too late and the pubs archived the title D: WHAT A MISSED OPPORTUNITY. I'm still angry at myself. Eeeee! That hardback of Eleanor & Park looks GORGEOUS. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I definitely must get my hands on it soon! Also, looking forward to your thoughts on Saving June, because HH is an amazing writer. Speechless was amazing. Saving June was amazing, though I preferred Speechless. :P

I think I may have been a little too quick to download The Testing. I'm not sure if I want to read it now. ;) Find Me and Blackout both sound pretty good. Heist Society is the first book in the series - I read it recently actually and enjoyed it quite a bit. I hope you enjoy your new books, Jenni! :)

ReplyDeleteOh, boy, you are not the only one making me feel antsy to buy Eleanor & Park. The cover keeps staring back at me out of my Amazon cart and I have to fight the urge to shout "I HAVE NO MONEY RIGHT NOW. Give me some peace!" It does look super awesome and I want my hands all over it.

I can never resist buying a book when I go into a book store and Jenni you got some great deals! Heist Society is the first book in the series, for me the books got better as the series progressed! I adore Ockler's books but really need to read Fixing Delilah soon! I hope you enjoy your books and your trip too! :)
